The magnetic seam guide attaches to the metal throat plate on the sewing machine and the long edge acts as a guide for the edge of fabric to keep seam allowances perfectly even and straight. Position the magnetic guide so the flat edge is the distance from the needle that you require. The magnetic base will anchor it to the metal throat plate. Great for ensuring perfect seams on patchwork, dressmaking, soft furnishings etc.
